Always committed to developing solutions for industrial cleaning, NOVATEC shares its experience and the future of the sector in this interview with Raffaela Tessari, Sales & Customer Care.
Let’s talk about your company. How was it founded? What do you do exactly in relation to the trade fair’s merchandise categories?
Our company was officially founded in 1993 in San Martino di Lupari, in the province of Padua, driven by the desire to truly offer high-quality cleaning systems to small production facilities as well. For years, the founder, Nello Franco, driven by passion and initiative, traveled for miles—from the most remote villages in the Belluno area to the French countryside—personally bringing his ultrasonic cleaning tanks to various workshops to have them tested and sold directly in the field. Year after year, system after system, the experience gained and the constant search for increasingly innovative solutions transformed that initial dream into a solid reality: a company specialized in the design, production, and installation of systems for surface cleaning and treatment. For over thirty years, we have been offering advanced and, above all, versatile technological solutions capable of adapting both to different industrial sectors and to the specific needs of each client. Our systems are applied in fields ranging from automotive to semiconductors, from medical to precision mechanics, and even aerospace, optics, jewelry, and molds. However, we also focus on finding “tailor-made” solutions: every system is designed to measure, to respond precisely and specifically to the needs of those who choose us.
How has your business evolved over the years? How did you experience the various phases of industrial transformation and how do you view the future developments of the sector?
Over the years, our business has evolved significantly, closely following industrial transformations and anticipating market demands. We started with simple but effective solutions, and we have gradually integrated increasingly advanced technologies, such as vacuum ultrasonic cleaning and process automation. We have experienced every phase of industrial transformation as an opportunity: from traditional mechanics to the precision required by the medical and semiconductor sectors, we have known how to adapt and innovate, always keeping quality and customization at the center. Looking to the future, we believe that sustainability, production flexibility, and continuous research will be the pillars upon which to build the next chapter in our sector.
What is your relationship with international markets?
We started in Italy with our eyes turned abroad, and over the years—also thanks to the push of globalization—we have built a solid and ongoing relationship with international markets. Today we are present on every continent, except Antarctica, with clients in Japan, Australia, Brazil, Canada, and, naturally, throughout Europe. Our global network is constantly evolving and allows us to bring our technological solutions wherever there is a need for quality, reliability, and customization.
What is one particular thing that makes your company unique?
There are various specific aspects that characterize us, but without a doubt, one of the aspects that makes us truly unique is the internal management of the entire production process, a value that our clients deeply appreciate. From design to development, from mechanical machining to system construction: every phase is carried out at our headquarters in San Martino di Lupari. Installation and commissioning are then entrusted exclusively to our qualified technicians and collaborators, ensuring continuity and competence until the final testing. Throughout the entire journey—from production to delivery, and often even beyond—we maintain a direct and flexible relationship with the client, adapting to their needs and accompanying them with tailor-made solutions, even when requirements evolve during the project.
Why did you decide to participate in p2c?
We chose to participate in parts2clean again this year because it represents a highly specialized event, entirely dedicated to the theme of industrial cleaning. It is a fair that attracts competent visitors who are genuinely interested, and for us exhibitors, it is a precious opportunity to engage with stimulating and cutting-edge realities. Furthermore, parts2clean has become a reference point for us to meet our German clients in a professional, familiar context that is perfectly in line with the sector. It is an opportunity to discuss news, gather requests, or simply consolidate relationships with a cordial greeting.
How has participating in p2c influenced the development of your business?
Parts2clean represents a highly specialized niche in the world of industrial cleaning, especially in Germany and German-speaking countries. Participating in this fair means immersing oneself completely in a technical and qualified context, sometimes also facing the challenge of “playing away from home” and overcoming any doubts, especially from those who only know us by name and haven’t yet had the chance to work with us. One of the most sensitive topics is after-sales support, but over the years we have shown that distance is not an obstacle: thanks to a solid organization and a customer-oriented approach, we have managed to guarantee timely and reliable support. In this light, participation in parts2clean has also contributed to the goal of satisfying our clients, a goal that is never a finishing line, but always a process to be perfected.
Such a significant and long-term presence at p2c has certainly experienced moments of particular intensity. Can you tell us any anecdotes that summarize your relationship with the fair and the lively community of international operators?
In many years of participating in parts2clean, we have experienced intense and significant moments, even if they are not always easily summarized in a single anecdote. What we recall with pleasure is the climate of exchange and collaboration that exists among international operators: every edition is an opportunity to meet familiar faces, build new relationships, and discuss technical solutions and common challenges. It has happened to us several times that a simple chat at the stand has turned, over time, into a solid collaboration.
What are your expectations for p2c? How will you participate this year?
For this edition of parts2clean, we have high expectations: after the transition from an annual to a biennial event, we believe the fair will be welcomed with renewed enthusiasm and interest, despite the complex economic context. We will proudly present one of our flagship systems: the 2CRD, a single-chamber ultrasonic system for precision cleaning with vacuum technology, appreciated for its high performance and versatility. As a preview, we will also bring a new, technologically advanced compact and manual system designed to meet the needs of different sectors. It is a two-tank solution that integrates ultrasound and vacuum, offering performance comparable to those of automatic multi-tank or single-chamber systems. We are confident that these offerings will arouse great interest among visitors, confirming our commitment to innovation and quality.
Why is it important to be present at p2c?
Being present at parts2clean is fundamental for us: we consider it a true showcase of excellence, within the most prestigious “gallery” of the sector. Even if the feedback is not always immediate, we know that visitors observe, gather information, and, above all, remember. Often, after some time, they return to us with concrete requests, confirming the value of a constant and qualified presence. parts2clean is synonymous with competence and reliability, and being part of it means asserting our commitment to innovation, quality, and dialogue with a highly specialized audience.
